• RICHMOND, VA, Position Type: Seasonal, Salary Range: $13.00 - $15.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, Gator’s Gift Shop is seeking a friendly and dependable Seasonal Gators Attendant to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role blends retail, customer service, and light food & beverage support, requiring strong multitasking skills and a positive, service-focused attitude. Required availability includes Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional availability on weekends and holidays. Flexibility to support evolving business needs is also expected. Key Requirements Availability: Must be available any day of the week between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional availability on weekends and holidays. Communication: Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with guests and team members. Customer Service: Strong commitment to providing friendly, attentive, and personalized guest service. Professionalism: Reliable, polished, and professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as stocking, organizing, and maintaining the shop. Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and assist with various shop responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, attentive service to all guests Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system (cash and card) Assist guests with product selection and purchases Restock merchandise and maintain proper inventory levels Ensure the shop remains clean, organized, and visually appealing Support light food and beverage service as needed Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in retail, customer service, food & beverage is a plus Comfortable handling cash and using POS systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Traits of a Successful Candidate Guest-focused with a friendly and approachable demeanor Detail-oriented and organized Team player with a collaborative mindset Proactive and willing to take initiative Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Why Work Here Gator’s Gift Shop offers a supportive and team-oriented environment where you can build valuable experience in both retail and hospitality.
