Environmental Officer

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with the Environmental Management Plan.
• Monitor waste segregation, storage, handling, transportation, and disposal records.
• Inspect site controls for dust, noise, wastewater, drainage, spills, and chemical storage.
• Coordinate environmental sampling and monitoring with approved service providers.
• Identify environmental nonconformities, report findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Deliver environmental inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
• Assist with environmental incident reporting, investigations, and emergency response exercises.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant site environmental experience.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or oil and gas projects.
• Working knowledge of environmental monitoring, waste management, spill prevention, and pollution controls.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001; Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
• Strong inspection, documentation, reporting, and workforce communication skills.
