Federal Data Analyst

Description Chevo is hiring an experienced Federal Data Analyst , to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to Federal Data Analysis, Communications, Business Intelligence, and Government Mission Support operations related to mission-driven federal programs.

This position provides a hybrid work environment, with 1-2-days per week client engagement expected. Client site located in the Arlington VA.

Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders. Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for leadership. Streamline processes for data cleansing and reporting by validating and updating R scripts and macros to reduce manual effort for data preparation, analysis, and report construction.

Perform data analysis and quality control checks using R scripts, Pivot Tables, and additional automations. Analyze data, identify results, interpret conclusions and communicate results. Create and update documentation for comprehensive survey processes and procedures using spreadsheets, tables, OneNote, Visio, etc., as required.

Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes. Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in related field US citizenship Experience with Business, systems, or data analysis, data collection or visualizations using Power BI and/or Qualtrics tools. Excellent quantitative skills and ability to interpret data, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications: Previous experience supporting DHS Knowledge of project management and/or Agile Scrum principles and applications. Knowledge and application of Artificial Intelligence.
