District Daily Substitute Administrator

Job Title: District Substitute Administrator School: District Required Certificate: Valid NJ School Administrator, Principal or Supervisor Certificate Salary/Rates: This is a per diem role. Daily jobs will become available when administrators or supervisors are out are out for extended periods of time. Please be aware, it is not guaranteed that a job will be available 5 days a week.

Vice Principals and Supervisors: $400 per day Principals/Directors: $450 per day Benefits: No benefits are offered for this position. Description: Burlington Township School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced substitute administrator who will: Supervise students and maintain a safe, orderly, and positive school environment.

Manage daily school operations in the absence of the regular administrator or supervisor. Address student behavior and discipline concerns in accordance with school policies. Respond to emergencies, accidents, and safety concerns following established procedures. Support and supervise teachers, staff, and other school personnel as needed.

Ensure classes, schedules, duties, and coverage are operating as planned. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student concerns or school matters. Enforce school policies, procedures, and district expectations. Coordinate with transportation, custodial, security, and support staff when necessary. Possibly conducted evaluations depending on the length of the assignment.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid New Jersey School Administrator, Principal or Supervisor Certificate Must meet New Jersey residency requirements. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Highly organized and motivated. Self-starter. Ability to work independently. Ability to multitask. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and demonstrate flexibility.
