SAP Re-Fx Analyst Support

COMPANY : MISC BERHAD DIVISION : Finance DEPARTMENT : Information and Communication Technology (ICT) JOB TITLE : SAP RE-FX ANALYST Support REPORTS TO : Manager SAP Finance ERP JOB PURPOSE : Providing Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 support for SAP Real Estate Management (RE-FX), encompassing incident management, system configuration, and integration with SAP FI/CO.

The role involves in-depth analysis of system behaviour, debugging complex issues, and ensuring stability and accuracy of RE-FX processes, particularly during financial close cycles (MEC). Responsible for supporting cross-functional integration between RE-FX and other SAP modules, including:  Finance (FI/CO) – G/L postings, account determination, cost/profit center alignment  Reporting – data consistency for financial and management reporting  FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) – integration with receivables, collections, and dispute management PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Delivery & Support Management  Provide end-to-end functional support for SAP RE-FX applications, ensuring adherence to SLA, governance, and support procedures  Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and user inquiries with minimal disruption to business operations  Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive and long-term solutions  Liaise with SAP Principal Support, vendors, and internal IT teams to resolve complex platform or integration-related issues  Support month-end and quarter-end closing (MEC/QEC) processes related to RE-FX, including valuation and financial postings  Identify and implement system patches, compliance updates, and data archiving strategies  Monitor and recommend system performance improvements to ensure optimal system efficiency  Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, incidents, and resolutions

Application Operations & Stability  Ensure system stability, performance, and reliability across all deliverables, including changes, enhancements, and projects, in compliance with governance standards and MISC project guidelines  Deliver all support activities, enhancements, and fixes within agreed SLA timelines, ensuring alignment with user and stakeholder expectations  Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, business processes, incidents, and resolutions to support knowledge management and audit requirements KEY CHALLENGES:  Manage delivery of SAP RE-FX modules within committed timelines, ensuring all scope, deliverables, and quality standards are met while aligning with stakeholder expectations JOB DESCRIPTION [Open]  Balance speed of execution with strict adherence to governance, compliance, and system stability requirements  Provide end-to-end best practice implementation and support for new modules within the MISC landscape, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and operational standards STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Internal  MISC Group Business Users (MISC, GAS, OBU, MISC Marine, ALAM, AET, and MHB)  Business Units (Finance, Procurement, Corporate Functions)  Group ICT / Digital Teams External  MISC Partners  Auditors  Petronas  Supplier/Vendors COMPETENCIES, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS: COMPETENCIES:  Execution & Delivery Discipline – Strong ability to drive timely and high-quality delivery while maintaining control over scope, timelines, and deliverables  Support & Service Delivery Management – Proven capability in managing L1–L3 support, ensuring SLA adherence, and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction  Problem Solving & Risk Management – Skilled in root cause analysis (RCA), proactive issue resolution, and mitigating risks to ensure system stability  Enterprise Applications & Integration Expertise – In-depth knowledge of SAP landscapes, with strong understanding of cross-functional integration (e.g., RE-FX, FI/CO, FSCM, reporting)  Governance without Bureaucracy – Ability to enforce governance, compliance, and standards while maintaining agility and efficient delivery EXPERIENCE:  3–5+ years of hands-on experience supporting SAP RE-FX (Real Estate Management) within SAP S/4HANA environments, including incident management, configuration, and system enhancements  Strong experience in system integration between third-party platforms and ERP, with exposure to solutions such as Coupa, NSE, and Cheeta, ensuring seamless data flow, interface stability, and reconciliation QUALIFICATION:  Degree in Information and Communication Technology or equivalent.
