Tax Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION : Audubon is currently seeking an entry level Tax Associate to join our team in the Houston, TX office. This is a part-time, entry-level position for college students who want to learn how a corporate tax team works. No tax or accounting experience is needed. We provide all training. What matters most is that you're reliable, curious, and eager to learn.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Support the tax team with data entry and spreadsheet updates Gather, organize, and file documents (electronic and paper) Help prepare materials for senior team members Follow up with colleagues to collect missing information Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks Learn tax processes step by step through on-the-job training Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities: All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

This includes: Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS : Junior or Senior at a four-year University in the Houston area Pursuing a business-related degree Willing to learn, take direction, and ask questions Detail-oriented and organized Clear communicator Comfortable with basic Excel and Microsoft Office No Recruiters, please!
