Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused General Utility / Shipping Utility team member to support plant operations and shipping activities.

This position plays an important role in ensuring efficient material handling, product movement, and facility upkeep while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. What You'll Be Doing Support shipping and plant operations by moving, loading, and handling materials safely and efficiently. Inspect, clean, and maintain work areas, equipment, and plant facilities to support operational readiness.

Operate designated equipment and tools in accordance with safety and operating procedures. Assist with product loading, inventory movement, and shipping activities to meet customer needs. Identify and communicate safety, equipment, or operational concerns to help maintain reliable operations. Ability to operate equipment and perform material handling tasks in an industrial environment. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
