Maintenance Technician II – Roving (5 San Diego-Area Communities)

Full-time · Home base at I-5 & Palm Ave, with weekly work in La Mesa, El Cajon and Santee · On-call rotation

Pay: $24–$26 per hour + mileage reimbursement + cell phone reimbursement + Apartment or Rent Discount

If you're an all-trades tech who likes variety, this is for you. Most of your week will be at our 164-unit community near I-5 and Palm Ave, and you'll also rotate through our communities in La Mesa, El Cajon and Santee to handle turns, service requests and repairs. You'll work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Managers, and residents will know you as the person who gets it fixed right the first time.

What you'll do

• Complete service requests and repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring and HVAC.
• Turn units on schedule and per standard.
• Help with preventive maintenance: pool, lighting, irrigation and exteriors.
• Do move-in/move-out inspections and keep grounds and common areas sharp.
• Help coordinate vendors and track inventory.
• Share the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.

What you bring

• 2+ years of multifamily (or similar residential) maintenance across all trades.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record and auto insurance.
• A service-first attitude and pride in your work.
• Property management maintenance experience. Bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.
