Maintenance Supervisor – 164-Unit Community (South San Diego)

Full-time · On-site at I-5 & Palm Ave, with support to nearby CVG communities · On-call rotation

Pay: $52k–$58k + per year + mileage reimbursement + year-end bonus potential + Apartment or Rent Discount

We're taking over a 1985-built, 164-unit community near I-5 and Palm Ave, and we need a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations. You'll lead the maintenance team, set the standard for service and turns, and partner with the Community Manager to plan repairs and capital work. You'll be based at this community and help at nearby CVG properties when needed.

What you'll do

• Lead, schedule and own the maintenance and upkeep of the community.
• Keep work orders moving with fast, quality completion.
• Complete unit turns so make-readies are on time and up to the CVG standard.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and flooring.
• Oversee preventive maintenance: pool, lighting, irrigation, exteriors and more.
• Walk the property daily, do move-in/move-out inspections, and flag safety issues.
• Manage vendors, inventory and the maintenance budget with the Community Manager.
• Run the on-call rotation and lead the response to emergencies.

What you bring

• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance, including lead or supervisory experience.
• Solid in all-trades skills including electrical, plumbing. Drywall, painting, HVAC is a plus
• Working knowledge of building codes, pool logs and safety requirements.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Availability for the on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred Skills, knowledge, certifications: Certified Pool Operator (CPO); Yardi, Experience with older properties; bilingual English/Spanish.
