Registered Nurse

Interested in a great inpatient, behavioral health care environment? The Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse who provides nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process. Duties Utilize the nursing process in planning, providing, and evaluating patient care; produce written nursing assessments and individualized care plans. Develop measurable goals on the Individualized Treatment Plan in collaboration with the treatment team and patient. Document nursing interventions and patient responses on progress notes, utilizing AIR charting.

Provide a safe, therapeutic environment that protects patient rights. Establish therapeutic relationships with patients; assist patients in developing coping mechanisms. Encourage independent behavior in patients using age-appropriate methods. Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred). Two years of nursing experience, with an additional year of psychiatric nursing experience (preferred). Schedule and Premium Pay Staff work 12-hour shifts, 7 AM to 7:30 PM and 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Shift premiums are provided for nights and weekends . Unless arranged otherwise during the interview and selection process, weekday staff will be assigned to work every other weekend.
