(Assistant) Trade Services Manager

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing the operations of the business under supervision, and conduct productivity management to ensure business operations are lawful, compliant, safe, and efficient. Participate in formulating work regulations, detailed rules, guidelines, etc., and provide recommendations to improve various rules and procedures.

Assist in researching methods to improve operational processes and reduce operational risks, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and achieving optimal cost-effectiveness. Assist in defining system requirements for the business under supervision, and oversee system management, new feature implementation, and operational effectiveness.

Review work documents and process authorized transactions within delegated authority, guide subordinates in handling complex cases, and assist in following up on operational errors and incidents. Coordinate with frontline marketing by visiting clients, introducing operational procedures for relevant products, and following up on customer service needs.

Maintain good relationships with external institutions, industry peers, and clients, monitor market developments, and report to superiors in a timely manner. Support regional operations and assist in managing the line operations of branches and subsidiaries. Undertake short-term assignments for providing operational guidance and training.

Requirements

Diploma holder or above in Banking, Finance or related disciplines 1+ years of work experience in trade operation fields Possesses professional knowledge and experience in bill transaction Familiar with ICC practices especially on UCP600, URDG758 and ISP98 etc., local regulations, and market operations Strong risk management awareness Have CDCS/CITF professional qualifications Proficiency in computer software such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
