Point of Care Medical Technologist

Job Summary:## Performs a wide variety of activities to coordinate the Point of Care programs of the laboratory.# Assists in implementation of employee orientation program.## Practices as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (MT/CLS/MLS) as assigned.# Qualifications:# Bachelor#s degree from a recognized school or university.

MT/CLS/MLS (ASCP) registration or equivalent required or must obtain ASCP or equivalent within 6 months of hire.# At least#two years of medical laboratory experience.# Thorough knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and specimen requirements.# Considerable skills in performing various laboratory tests.# Considerable skills in planning, organizing and teaching.
