Activities Aide

Job Summary

Performs assessments of patient activity needs, develops a plan of care based on the assessment and implements the plan in conjunction with the patient and/or family. Participates as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Education

Preferred High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Experience: Required Completed two years in a social or recreational program within the last five years, one of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting or has completed an activity training course approved by any state. Certification/Licensure: Required Activities Director Certification Must obtain within one (1) year of start date # Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Must obtain within thirty (30) days of start date Safe Approach Level III Certification Must obtain within six (6) months of start date
