Senior Marketing Specialist

Borsod. Chem Zrt. a leading European manufacturer of MDI and TDI products and PVC powders, part of the Chinese Wanhua Group is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Senior Marketing Specialist.

Responsibilities

Brand Management and Marketing Communications Plan, coordinate, and implement brand-building and promotional initiatives in line with Borsod. Chem’s corporate identity and marketing strategy. Coordinate marketing campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, customer seminars, partner events, and other promotional activities from concept to completion.

Develop, manage, and continuously improve marketing and promotional materials in cooperation with external agencies and internal stakeholders. Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across marketing channels and communication materials. Customer Engagement and Market Intelligence Support the development and implementation of customer-focused marketing initiatives that strengthen engagement and long-term business relationships.

Maintain and develop customer databases, contribute to customer segmentation and evaluation, and ensure the accuracy and relevance of marketing data. Design, coordinate, and evaluate customer satisfaction surveys and translate findings into actionable insights. Monitor competitors, market developments, and industry trends to identify opportunities for strengthening Borsod.

Chem’s market position. Collect, analyse, and report marketing data to assess campaign effectiveness and support data-driven decision-making. Sustainability and Industry Relations Contribute to sustainability communication initiatives, supporting clear, consistent, and credible communication of relevant sustainability efforts and developments to customers.

Coordinate marketing-related activities with industry associations and support initiatives that strengthen Borsod. Chem’s professional reputation and industry presence. Project Coordination and Collaboration Support the Marketing Manager in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of marketing activities. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables, efficient resource utilisation, and adherence to deadlines.

Build effective working relationships with internal teams, external agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

College/University degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience, particularly in brand management, marketing communications, and promotional activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hungarian and English.

Proficiency in MS Office Excel. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. A proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to work in cultural diverse environment.

Advantage: Experience in industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or B2B environment is a strong advantage. Experience with graphic design tools or the preparation of marketing and visual communication materials. Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
