Senior Data Science Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our IOps (Intelligent Operations) pillar within the Data Science and AI department. This leader will drive the development and delivery of a unified conversational intelligence platform — spanning chatbots and voicebots—built on multi-agent AI architectures that serve customers across their entire financial journey.

Beyond the pillar's core product mandate, this leader will architect a unified intelligence layer — drawing on the company's data assets, models, and AI capabilities — that both the chatbot and voicebot channels leverage to deliver consistent, context-aware, and intelligent customer experiences. This shared intelligence foundation will also extend beyond customer-facing applications, driving operational efficiency across the company through intelligent automation, predictive models, and AI-assisted workflows that reduce costs, accelerate processes, and improve decision-making at scale.

Ideal candidates possess deep technical expertise in GenAI and agentic AI systems, with a proven ability to integrate complex models into scalable production environments. They combine a strong understanding of financial services with a track record of leadership and translating AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

What you will do

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, machine learning, AI and analytics engineers. Designing multi-agent orchestration frameworks Defining agent roles and handoff logic Building evaluation and guardrail systems for conversational AI Architecting a unified intelligence layer that both chat and voice channels leverage to deliver consistent, context-aware, and intelligent customer experiences Develop and implement data science strategies aligned with business objectives.

Build and maintain high-performing data science models and pipelines. Conduct research and experimentation on cutting-edge AI/GenAI/ML techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, marketing, business) to deliver impactful solutions. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and technology.

Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Extract valuable insights from large datasets to guide model development Measure and iterate on solutions to maximize customer satisfaction impact.

What we are looking for

Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) Demonstrated experience deploying LLM-based or multi-agent conversational AI systems in production 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field 5+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing data science teams Proven track record of successfully delivering impactful data science projects in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
