Fireside Food Server

Department: TUL Fireside Grill Property: River Spirit Casino Resort Location: Tulsa, OK, US, 74137 Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional food service in a fine-dining restaurant setting to all guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner while displaying a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Provide constant, attentive and exceptional service to casino guests during service.
2. Responsible for receiving beverage and food orders from guests.
3. Responsible for prompt delivery of beverage and food orders.
4. Assist all guests as needed.
5. Assist bussing staff by pre-bussing guests’ tables.
6. Responsible for keeping work areas and tables clean at all times.
7. Stay informed and up-to-date with daily changes in menus, pricing, special events, and promotions.
8. Comply with all Oklahoma State liquor laws and MNGE Community Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance.
9. React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
10. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently.

EDUCATION

Ability to read, write and understand English. High School Diploma or GED preferred. EXPERIENCE Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and electronic timekeeping systems, is required. 1 year server experience preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MCN OPG Gaming License is required. Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.

Tulsa County Food Handler’s Card is required for all F&B positions. Liquor License from the Able Commission is also required for F&B front of house positions. Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required. JOB DEMANDS Physical The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.

Must be able to stand long periods of time and/or walk in excess of 2 1/2 miles per shift. Has ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. up to 38” and Push/Pull force of 88 lbs. Ability to maneuver chairs 20lbs up to 100 times per shift. Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, frequent ascent/descent from bus stairs, travel to various on/off site venues, which may involve elevation changes in surfaces.

Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files.
