1. Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling
2. Ability to Pass DOJ Background/Fingerprint Check
3. Tuberculosis Clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
4. Experience with at-risk students, behavior modification systems and Special Education
5. Effective social/emotional counseling techniques and procedures
6. Ability to develop and implement appropriate plans of action and make decisions that foster personal and school success
7. Meets with students for personal, social and/or emotional counseling
8. Consults with parents and teachers to promote cooperative efforts in meeting student's needs
9. Assists with the orientation and intakes of students
10. Provides families with resource information as needed
11. Assists with student body activities, school programs, committee assignments, and supervision of students
12. Successful Teaching Experience
13. Appropriate ELL Authorization.

Facilitate group counseling and SEL Learning SALARY: Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule ($62,997 to $103,283*) Master’s Degree – 2% on base annual salary Doctorate Degree – additional 2% on base annual salary National Board Certification – additional $1,000 (prorated) 15 years creditable experience may be accepted upon verification (*Based on 200 work days; prorated based on date of hire) ORDER OF CONSIDERATION:
