Morning Opening Lifeguard

PAID Lifeguard Certification Training. Weekend Availability Required JOB SUMMARY Early Morning Lifeguard (4:45 AM – 8:00 AM or 4:45 AM - 11:00 AM Weekday Availability Required) Location: 25 Elm Street North Easton, MA Start your day with purpose at the YMCA! No problem— we provide training for the right candidates. Important: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the Ellis Lifeguard Certification course.

What You’ll Do Open the pool on time and set the tone for a positive, welcoming environment Greet members and create a friendly, respectful atmosphere Monitor all swimmers to ensure safety and enforce pool rules Support lap swim operations, including organizing lanes as needed Communicate clearly with participants about classes and pool procedures Respond quickly and professionally to any incidents or emergencies Assist with fun and engaging aquatic programs and events Promote YMCA programs and connect members to opportunities Attend staff meetings and ongoing trainings Secure the pool area at the end of your shift unless properly relieved Schedule Requirement Weekday availability for shifts between 4:45 AM – 8:00 AM Weekday availability for shifts between 4:45 AM – 11:00 AM Why the YMCA?

Specific Availability Requirement: Weekday/Opening Availability EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/Physical Requirements (Minimum Mandatory) Minimum 16 years old Current Ellis Lifeguard certification and current certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED and O2 Maintains "Test Ready" Standards Must be able to perform all physical tasks of a Lifeguard.

Includes lifting adult from pool onto pool deck. Complete program specific and employee orientation training by required timeline. RequirementPosition is extended, upon successful completion of ELLIS Lifeguarding course
