Senior Accounting Manager

SUMMARY : Senior Accounting Manager oversees complex accounting activities, including month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulations . They analyze financial data for forecasting, assist with budgets, audit preparation, and mentor junior staff. Key requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting, strong Excel skills, and 3-5+ years of experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Close Process Leadership: Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls Compliance & Audit: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure financial records adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and tracking financial trends to support decision-making. Team Support: Mentor, guide, or supervise junior accounting staff and improve accounting procedures.
