Job description
We are hiring experienced AWS D1.5 Certified Welders for an active bridge project in Fargo, North Dakota. Candidates must have strong FCAW (flux-core) experience and be able to pass an onsite weld test.
Requirements
Current AWS D1.5 Bridge Certification (Required). Experience with FCAW and/or SMAW Structural steel / bridge welding experience. Ability to pass weld test. Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
Perform FCAW and SMAW welding per AWS D1.5 standards Weld structural steel components (girders, stiffeners, splice plates). Follow WPS and blueprint specifications. Maintain proper preheat/interpass temps. Work under CWI inspection.
