Part-Time Professional Academic Coach (Center for Academic Success)

Part-Time Professional Academic Coaches conduct academic coaching sessions with students as well as serve in a coaching and mentorship role for peer coaches who are in their first year of coaching or need to improve their coaching knowledge and skills. Professional Academic Coaches report to the Assistant Director of Academic Support.

The goal of the Academic Coaching program is to enrich, enhance, and facilitate the student learning experience at Lamar University by offering research-based strategies to improve study techniques, manage time, identify strategies, adopt behaviors, and develop action steps to support their academic journey.
