About the Role

As our Bus Driver, you'll be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from: Community outings and scenic drives Shopping trips and local events Social gatherings and lifestyle activities Medical appointments Special celebrations and excursions You'll work closely with our Lifestyle Team to ensure every outing is enjoyable, safe and engaging for residents.

What You'll Be Doing Safely operating the Care Community bus Assisting residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle Supporting residents during outings where required Conducting vehicle safety checks and maintaining cleanliness of the bus Building positive relationships with residents and their families Working collaboratively with Lifestyle and Care teams Ensuring compliance with road safety and transport requirements About You Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence Previous experience driving buses or passenger vehicles highly regarded Friendly, patient and approachable personality Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to interact confidently with older people Reliable, organised and safety-focused First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) desirable Why Join Lansdowne Gardens?
