Project Manager, Base Operations (Fort Stewart / Hunter AAF)

Claxton Logistics Services, LLC is a veteran-owned small business provider of program management and support services to the Department of Defense. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead base operations and maintenance services for the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Selected candidates will be named in our proposal and will sign a letter of commitment .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the on-site workforce delivering demand maintenance, preventive maintenance and operations services across vertical and horizontal facilities, barracks, heating and cooling, water and wastewater, pest management, grounds, pavement clearance and solid waste.
• Serve as the company's single on-site authority and the Contracting Officer's Representative's daily point of contact, with full authority to act for Claxton on contract matters.
• Own contract performance, performance standards, deliverables, reporting and quality control.
• Direct the Work Control Center and the GFEBS preventive maintenance program with the GFEBS PM Coordinator Lead.
• Manage staffing, subcontractors, safety and labor relations for a collective bargaining workforce.
• Serve as the after-hours point of contact for emergencies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least five years of experience in base support management, or on a contract similar in scope and breadth.
• A Bachelor of Science in Facility Management, or at least two of the following: Facility Management Professional (FMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP), or a Facilities Management Certificate.
• Hold a Secret (Tier 3) clearance at contract start. U.S. citizenship required.
• Available on site Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience managing an Army DPW or base operations support (BOS) contract.
• Familiarity with GFEBS and Army work-order processes.
• Experience leading a workforce covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
