Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, and related outpatient procedures Sterile Processing Technician at Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program Sterile Processing Certification required Experience with all types of sterilizers Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed Salary Range: Min $21.

61- $26.47. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
