FP&A Analyst

Medellin, Antioquia, ColombiaFull-timePosted Oct 23, 2026

Job description

About the client Our client is a global SaaS company and a market leader in store operations software for grocery and convenience retail. Its AI-powered platform connects fresh, center store, eCommerce and direct store delivery operations for retail chains in dozens of countries.

About the role

We are hiring FP&A Analysts at two levels to join a fast-moving Finance team. These are hands-on roles for people with strong analytical skills, solid financial modeling and an interest in SaaS economics, AI and automation. You will work with Finance and with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success and G&A to turn financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready analysis, and help build more efficient, scalable FP&A processes.

The level, and the scope of ownership, will depend on your experience.

What you'll do

  • Run the monthly FP&A cycle: financial reporting, budget-versus-actual variance analysis, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Build and maintain financial models for ARR, revenue, headcount, operating expenses, EBITDA and cash flow.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses on growth, sales productivity, retention, hiring and spend.
  • Track and analyze SaaS and go-to-market metrics: ARR, bookings, pipeline, churn, retention, expansion, gross margin and sales productivity.
  • Partner with functional leaders to collect inputs, validate assumptions and flag risks, opportunities and variances against plan.
  • Support the annual operating plan, periodic reforecasts and ad hoc business cases.
  • Prepare dashboards, presentations and management reports that communicate findings clearly.
  • Use AI tools and automation to improve reporting, analysis, forecasting and recurring Finance processes.
  • Find ways to simplify and improve models, templates and analytical workflows. At the senior level, you will also
  • Own driver-based models end to end, built from source data rather than static templates.
  • Analyze advanced metrics such as CAC, Rule of 40, pipeline coverage, win rate, sales cycle length and quota attainment, and explain what's moving and why.
  • Produce executive-ready materials for leadership, QBRs and Board-related reporting, bringing a point of view, not just a number.
  • Build and maintain AI-enabled workflows, such as rolling forecast updates and forecast-versus-actual analysis, with proper review and data-security controls. Why join
  • Direct exposure to senior Finance leaders and real business decisions.
  • Help build a modern FP&A function: driver-based planning, scenario modeling and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Broad exposure across a global, growing SaaS business.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial team that values ownership and rigor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting or a similarly analytical role.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling: complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups and large datasets.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of SaaS business models and key metrics, or the proven ability to learn them quickly.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) for analysis, reporting or productivity; be ready to show a real example.
  • Strong PowerPoint, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced English. FP&A Analyst - 2–4 years of relevant experience. Senior FP&A Analyst - 4–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to build driver-based financial models from source data, not just update existing templates.
  • Experience producing concise, executive-ready materials and turning messy data into a clear takeaway.

Nice to have

  • Experience with financial planning systems, ERP platforms or BI tools.
  • SQL, Python, Power BI or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology or private-equity-backed companies.
  • Progress toward CPA or CFA.
  • Retail, grocery, convenience or multi-location operations experience.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary in Colombian pesos (COP)
  • Private medical insurance
  • Continuous training and mentoring
  • Work with a leading global company
  • Real growth path, including a progression from Analyst to Senior
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial culture
  • Medellín office
