• NEW YORK, NY, Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00Hourly, Town House Specialty Cleaning Co. is seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaners to perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties at assigned locations. The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while meeting Company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean assigned areas and surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, and floors, as applicable. Empty trash and dispose of waste properly. Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies. Perform routine and periodic/deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies.

Follow Company safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or other issues to a supervisor. Complete assigned work within established schedules and service standards. Perform other cleaning duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to work the schedule required for the assigned location.

Compensation

& Benefits Pay rate: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on the position, location, experience, and other job-related factors.
