Circle K: ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER Modern Travel Centers Currently Under Construction! The Briad Group Binghamton, NY Salary Range: $19.00-$21.00/hour Offered salary is determined by role, level, and location. The final offer will be based on the candidate's specific experience and geographic work location Position Overview The Briad Group is launching 40 modern, multi-brand travel centers across NY State powered by Circle K and top quick-service restaurants.

We are seeking a flexible, positive Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, train team members, and step into full leadership when the Store Manager is away. This fast-paced role offers clear, structured internal development to help you progress into running your own business unit or location while living our culture: Grow EVERY day, be BRILLIANT, and care GENUINELY.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and coach CSRs and Lead CSRs; delegate tasks and step in as Store Manager when needed. Guest Service: Ensure fast, friendly service and drive sales through suggestive selling. Store Operations: Assist with inventory, stocking, vendor deliveries, cash handling, scheduling, and daily paperwork. Cleanliness & Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, food service areas, and exterior.

Equipment & Safety: Monitor store and fuel equipment; strictly enforce company policies, loss prevention, and food safety procedures (HACCP).

Qualifications

Retail experience preferred; proven ability to supervise and train team members. Skills: Clear communication (English), strong leadership presence, and the ability to work independently or as a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 30 lbs. routinely (60 lbs. occasionally); work in coolers, freezers, and outdoors.

Logistics: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
