Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technician

• Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment. * Troubleshoot and repair field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control devices. * Perform calibration and functional testing of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments. * Maintain and troubleshoot control valves, actuators, and associated instrumentation systems.

• Carry out loop checks, signal verification, and instrument performance testing. * Read and interpret instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics. * Assist in maintaining PLC, DCS, and other industrial control systems, where applicable. * Maintain calibration records, maintenance reports, and technical documentation.

• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical qualification in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electronics, or a related field. * Relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. * Knowledge of industrial instruments, control valves, transmitters, and measurement systems. * Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems and instrumentation loop diagrams.

• Ability to perform instrument testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance. * Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and technical standards.
