Mechanical Technician

Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. Troubleshoot mechanical faults in pumps, motors, compressors, valves, gearboxes, and other machinery. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.

Perform equipment dismantling, assembly, alignment, lubrication, and replacement of mechanical components. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE standards and company safety procedures.

Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or Oil & Gas environments. Hands-on experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read mechanical drawings and use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Good understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and workplace safety standards. Candidates with a valid QID and immediate availability are preferred.
