From the first stitch to the finished product, our work supports military personnel, government operations, aerospace applications, and commercial customers. We're searching for a hands-on, results-driven Quality Manager who is ready to roll up their sleeves, lead an experienced team, challenge the status quo, and take our quality program to the next level.
If you're the kind of leader who loves solving challenges, developing people, and turning "good enough" into "exceptional," we want to meet you! Why You'll Love Working at Weckworth Competitive Compensation: Earn $95,000–$115,000 annually, with compensation negotiable for the right candidate. Great Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid holidays, and vacation.
A Schedule You'll Appreciate: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM–11:30 AM. Additional hours may be needed based on business demands. Work That Matters: Nearly 65% of the products assembled at Weckworth support the U.S. Government. Your leadership helps ensure products meet the demanding standards of the customers who depend on them.
Be the Decision-Maker: Take ownership of the Quality Department, bring fresh ideas to the table, and work directly with company leadership to drive meaningful improvements. Lead an Established Team: Coach, mentor, and develop a six-person Quality team while creating a culture where everyone takes pride in getting it right the first time.
Make Your Mark: Join an established manufacturer with a 100,000-square-foot facility where your experience, ideas, and leadership can make a real difference. Relocation assistance may be considered for a highly qualified candidate. Your Mission: Make Quality Everyone's Responsibility! As our Quality Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our quality management system, ensuring that our products, processes, and people consistently deliver excellence.
Here's where you'll make an impact: Lead the Charge! Manage and develop the Quality Department, setting clear expectations, building accountability, and inspiring your team to achieve outstanding results. Be Our Quality Champion! Develop, maintain, and strengthen quality systems, procedures, and standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9100 Rev D requirements.
Catch Problems Before They Happen! Oversee incoming, in-process, final, and random inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and contract requirements. Put Your Detective Skills to Work! Investigate quality concerns, identify root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and eliminate recurring issues.
Drive Continuous Improvement! Partner with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and other departments to reduce defects, minimize rework, improve efficiency, and strengthen first-pass quality. Be the Go-To Quality Expert! Lead customer and supplier quality discussions, coordinate audits, resolve quality concerns, and maintain strong relationships.
Develop Future Quality Leaders! Train, coach, and mentor team members while promoting quality awareness and accountability throughout the facility. Turn Data Into Action! Monitor quality performance, analyze trends, maintain accurate documentation, and present meaningful improvement opportunities to leadership. Stay Connected to the Action!
