Oracle Argus / Empirica Business Analyst

• Senior Level Experience: 5-8 Years Role Focus: L2 Support, Implementation, Functional & Technical Leadership Position Summary Lead functional and technical support for Oracle Argus Safety and Oracle Empirica platforms. Drive implementation, enhancements, application stabilization, root cause analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced L2 support and oversee critical incident resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem management activities.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Gather requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Troubleshoot application, interface, database, and batch processing issues.
• Coordinate with business users, vendors, and technical teams.
• Support regulatory reporting and signal detection processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge management.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Argus Safety and Oracle Empirica.
• Strong SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Understanding of WebLogic, integrations, and application architecture.
• Expertise in pharmacovigilance workflows, E2B reporting, aggregate reporting, and signal management.
• Experience in implementation and release management.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Argus certification, ITIL knowledge, validation (CSV) experience, and exposure to cloud-hosted PV environments.
