• Wilmington, NC, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Location: Country Club of Landfall, Wilmington, NC Department: Group Fitness Reports to: Group Fitness Coordinator Position type: [Part-time / Per class] About the role Country Club of Landfall is looking for an energetic, certified Barre Instructor to join our group fitness team. You’ll lead classes for a welcoming, engaged membership with a wide range of ages and fitness levels. The right person knows how to make a class feel challenging and fun while keeping every participant safe and successful. We want someone who builds real connections with members, takes pride in their craft, and wants to help grow a strong, supportive fitness community at the club.

Responsibilities

Plan and teach safe, effective, well-structured barre classes that combine strength, balance, flexibility, and core work Offer clear cueing and modifications so members of all ages and abilities can take part with confidence Create a positive, inclusive, member-focused class atmosphere Arrive early, set up and break down equipment, and keep the studio clean and orderly Track class attendance and follow club procedures for check-in and reporting Cover substitute classes when available and communicate schedule changes promptly with the Group Fitness Coordinator Represent the club professionally and uphold its standards of service and hospitality Qualifications A current, nationally recognized certification is required.

This can be a barre certification (such as Barre Above, BODYBARRE, barre3, Pure Barre, Xtend Barre, or similar) or a group fitness certification (such as ACE, AFAA, NASM, or similar). Each applicant’s certifications will be reviewed individually. Current CPR/AED certification Group fitness teaching experience, with barre experience preferred Strong knowledge of proper form, alignment, and safe exercise progressions Experience teaching active older adults or private club or resort members is a plus Excellent communication and people skills Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, friendly demeanor To apply: Apply directly on our website here or send your resume and copies of current certifications to Hillary Phillips at hillary.
