The General Services Department – Facilities Maintenance Division supports the full range of City-owned public assembly and cultural facilities. Within this division, the Seven. Venues Maintenance Team is responsible for keeping Norfolk’s premier entertainment and performance venues operating safely, reliably, and ready to host events of all sizes.

These venues include Scope Arena, Chrysler Hall, Attucks Theatre, Harrison Opera House, Harbor Park, Mac. Arthur Memorial, and Wells Theatre. Maintenance staff ensure that the behind-the-scenes infrastructure is dependable so that the City can continue offering a vibrant schedule of concerts, shows, sports, and community events.
