Housekeeper I

Amentum is seeking a Housekeeper I to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only.

Duties and responsibilities

in both VQ and PP Housing areas Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas. Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service. Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed. Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like extra towels, etc. Maintains inventory of necessary supplies within all linen rooms and stock areas Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors. Cleaning and stocking restrooms. Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment. Notifying managers of necessary repairs. Collecting and disposing of trash. Assisting guests when necessary. Keeping the linen room stocked. Properly cleaning upholstered furniture. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only. 5+ years of job-related experience. Must have ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules. Must be able to write.
