Financial Technician

You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the NAVAL ACADEMY.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1. Adhering to financial management policies, regulations, and procedures to support operations;
2. Utilizing office software and computer programs to support and manage databases to ensure accuracy and compliance with established guidelines;
3. Preparing and maintaining documents and filing systems of various records; and
4. Communicating effectively, orally and in writing, to share information, correspondence, and reports summarizing data. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
