Investment Paraplanner

Support our Financial Advisers by researching, analysing, and preparing financial plans and product recommendations across investments, retirement planning, long- term insurance, short-term insurance, and medical aid.

Key responsibilities

Prepare investment proposals, retirement projections, and living annuity analyses; conduct portfolio analysis and fund/platform research; draft suitability reports and records of advice per FAIS; facilitate Section 14 Transfers. Long-term insurance: Conduct needs analyses and prepare risk cover proposals (life, disability, income protection, severe illness); perform comparative insurer analyses; prepare new business docs and replacement notices.

Compliance & admin: Submit new business applications across all platforms; maintain client records per POPIA; ensure FAIS-compliant documentation; track pipeline and follow up with providers.

Requirements

NQF Level 5 in Financial Planning (CFP® advantageous)

• RE5 essential; RE1 advantageous (Or in the process)
• 2+ years' paraplanning or financial services experience
• Working knowledge of FAIS Act and General Code of Conduct
• Proven experience across investments, long-term insurance, short-term insurance, and medical aid
• System (CRM); advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluent English and Afrikaans (Read and Write)
