Independent Financial Advisor

We are looking for a driven and client-focused Financial Advisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about helping clients grow, protect, and structure their financial future. The successful candidate will provide holistic financial planning and build long-term client relationships through trusted advice and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients. Conduct financial needs analyses and develop long-term client relationships. Provide ongoing client servicing and regular financial reviews. Financial Planning & Advice Provide holistic financial planning across investments, retirement, risk, and wealth protection.

Develop and present tailored financial plans aligned to clients’ goals. Assist clients with retirement planning, wealth creation, and income protection strategies. New Business & Implementation Prepare and submit new business applications. Ensure all documentation is compliant and complete. Work closely with the administration team to implement solutions efficiently.

Compliance & Professional Standards Adhere to FAIS and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate client records and suitability documentation. Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and legislation. Business Growth Identify opportunities to grow the client base and increase assets under management. Participate in marketing initiatives, networking, and referral generation.

Requirements

RE5 qualification (essential or in progress). Relevant financial qualification (advantageous). Previous experience in financial services or advisory role preferred. Strong sales, relationship-building, and communication skills. Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset. High level of professionalism and integrity.
