Band Saw Operator

Engineered Steel Products (ESP), a New Page Capital Company, is a North Carolina based steel fabrication company providing structural and miscellaneous steel for the construction industry. Engineered Steel’s vision is to provide world-class customer service and steel to customers. We are hiring a Band Saw Operator in our processing area on a full-time basis to work onsite in Sophia, NC.

Responsibilities

Operate Band Saw, Drill Line, Angle Line, and Plasma Table Cut and process steel to job specs and drawings Measure and verify parts for accuracy Set up machines correctly and run jobs efficiently Perform daily equipment maintenance (greasing/oiling) Keep your work area clean and organized Work closely with the Shop Foreman and Plant Manager Requirements: Knowledge of structural steel shapes and sizes Comfortable working with machinery Can read a tape measure (accurately to the 1/16 of an inch) Experience operating an overhead crane Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Able to work with minimal supervision Strong focus on safety and quality work Engineered Steel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
