Yard Maintenance Operative, Lisburn, Full Time

We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated Yard Maintenance Operative to join our team in Lisburn . This role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization across our site facilities and yard areas. The Person We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to carry out a range of outdoor and manual maintenance tasks are key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment & Fleet Wash Down Washing and cleaning static trailers, equipment, and vehicle exteriors to ensure high standards of fleet presentation. Operating power washers, pressure hoses, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Yard Maintenance & Upkeep General cleaning and daily maintenance of all outdoor site and yard areas.

Litter picking, sweeping, and waste management across the property. Groundskeeping duties, including grass cutting, weeding, and basic landscape upkeep. Power washing and hosing down outdoor surfaces, walkways, and operational zones. Keeping walkways, emergency exits, and operational pathways clear of obstructions and hazards.

Identifying and promptly reporting site hazards or health & safety issues to management. Essential Criteria Ability to work comfortably outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical fitness to carry out manual handling, wash-down tasks, and general site maintenance. Strong time management, teamwork, and reliability.

Desirable Criteria Valid Counterbalance Forklift License. Previous experience in site maintenance, groundskeeping, or industrial equipment/vehicle washing.

Terms & Conditions Location: 5 Altona Road, Blaris Industrial Estate, Lisburn, BT27 5QB. Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour.
