Valley Early Learning Academy Program Instructional Assistant

Hours: 5 hours 45 min per day- Monday-Friday (shifts: 6:30am - 12:30pm or 11:00 am - 5:00pm) Salary or Rate of Pay : $13.80 Qualifications:

• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks – 3 years old Responsibilities: Help establish and enforce best practices for the academy. Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean, safe, and organized. Assists with the implementation of education during all classroom activities. Assists with the planning and execution of nutritious meals for students.
• Assist with the preparation of instructional materials
• Assists lead teacher with recording student progress data
• Follows all state and local regulations (ratios, standards, etc..)
• Maintain and follow appropriate professional behaviors and attire per handbook
