Location: Cape Coral Hospital - 636 Del Prado Blvd Cape Coral FL 33990 Department: Operating Room Work Type: PRN Shift: Shift 1/6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $35.30 - $35.30 / hour Summary The surgical technologist II functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse.

Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient in a variety of specialties. Performs call obligations as assigned.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent, and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing. Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience . Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) through the AHA (American Heart Association) required. CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) preferred.
