Shop Mechanic (Swing Shift)

Overview

Shop Mechanic (Swing Shift) Suncore is hiring a skilled Shop Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment fleet. If you have diesel, hydraulic, and electrical repair experience, join our team for competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment! Things You’ll Do Perform routine diesel engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks. Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged parts and determine necessary repairs or replacements. Troubleshoot and repair engine fault codes using diagnostic equipment and tools.

Requirements

Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Previous experience as a Diesel or Shop Mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.

Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
