Trust Assistant

Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is hiring a Trust Assistant. This full-time position will provide operational support and assist in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Candidates must possess a high-level of personal accountability, strong attention to detail and follow-through. Duties include but are not limited to: Maintains customer files and records for respective trust accounts.

Responsible for record keeping on Cheetah accounting system; opening, closing, and making additions and changes when necessary. Posts transactions to Cheetah accounting system adhering to principal and income accounting rules when applicable. Assists account administrators with required reporting and administrative documentation.

Responsible for preparing and organizing document imaging. Completes period-end reconciliations. Maintains active, positive involvement in the community and the Bank. Actively nurtures relationships with existing bank customers using face-to-face communication.

Qualifications

Education

Associate’s degree in business or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Previous Trust or investment experience is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
