Field Marketing Manager
Job description
Description About the Company: Opti is the AI-native identity security platform, replacing manual, periodic access governance with continuous, automated control that deploys in hours, not months. Founded by repeat cybersecurity entrepreneurs and backed by top-tier VCs with $20M in funding, we're AWS's exclusive emerging IAM partner in the Security Hub Extended program.
About the Role
We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager to join Opti's growing marketing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in event and field marketing, including large conferences as well as smaller events (roadshows, executive dinners, meetups), alongside experience across broader marketing functions including partner marketing, content, and brand support.
This is a hands-on role for a marketing professional seeking real ownership and impact. You'll get exposure to every part of marketing at a fast-growing startup, with field marketing as your core specialty. If you're extremely organized, resourceful, creative and you enjoy bringing campaigns to life in person as much as you do online, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Own Opti’s field marketing calendar: flagship industry conferences, tradeshows, executive dinners, roundtables, and regional roadshows. Manage end-to-end event execution: sponsorships, booth, staffing, agendas, swag, shipping, and vendors. Work with Sales to align events with target accounts, including pre-event outreach, meeting setting, and post-event follow-up.
Run executive programs for CISOs and security leaders, from audience curation and invitations to co-hosting with advisors and partners. Own partner marketing with technology and channel partners, including joint events, co-marketing campaigns, partner content, and launch announcements. Own field budget and report on KPIs in Hub.
Spot such as registrations, meetings booked, and pipeline influenced. Support content, website, sales enablement, and brand initiatives as needed. Represent Opti on site at key industry events in the US (no more than quarterly).
Requirements
5+ years of B2B tech marketing experience, ideally in a SaaS or startup environment; cybersecurity or enterprise tech experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proven track record owning field end to end, from conferences to executive events. Ability to run co-marketing programs with technology or channel partners.
Experience partnering closely with Sales on target accounts, including pre-event outreach, meeting setting, and post-event follow-up. Comfortable balancing project management with day-to-day hands-on execution. Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple vendors and timelines. Experience with Hub. Spot in the context of field and partnership operations.
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with shifting priorities.
