Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential in-home support to clients in White Lake, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence in a safe and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff or family members.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals or family members.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or personal care assistance is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in White Lake, MI.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks, including lifting or assisting clients.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance preferred but not required.
