• DES MOINES, IA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Music Adjunct and Lesson Instructors The Department of Music at Grand View University accepts applications for part-time music faculty. Duties may include private lesson instruction, leading music ensembles, or general education courses including music appreciation, fundamentals of music, and musics of the world. Courses and lessons are face-to-face. We have an immediate need for Fundamentals of Music for Fall 2026. We offer private instruction in: Voice, Piano, Guitar, Brass, Woodwinds, Percussion, and Strings. This is a continuous job posting to establish a qualified pool of part-time instructors on an as-needed basis semester-to-semester. Qualifications

Master's degree in Music or a related field required (PhD preferred). Teaching experience in higher education preferred. Strong communion skills, Experience working with diverse populations.
