In a rural environment, the LPN plays an essential role—supporting patients before and after surgery and endoscopic procedures, contributing to a culture of safety, respect, and collaboration.

The area also has a few golf courses and is close to Buffalo Lake.

Description: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures.

Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: 5 years' experience in an Acute Care setting preferably surgery.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work in a past paced environment. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods. Previous experience in a day surgery or endoscopy environment is preferred.
