Job description
Overall Responsibility: The cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of assigned areas. The role ensures that facilities are kept in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with health, safety, and company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing floors.
- Dusting and wiping furniture, fixtures, windows and surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies such as detergents, tissues.
- Reporting maintenance issues or damages to the supervisors.
- Following cleaning schedules and tasks.
- Handling cleaning equipment and chemical safely.
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Providing courteous support to staff, visitors, or clients when required.
