AVP, Fullstack Developer, Core Banking Technology, Group Technology

In Group Tech, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Gather and refine specification and requirements based on technical needs. Analyse and optimise performance and reliability of the applications. Design and Develop responsive Web applications using React JS/Angular JS Design and Develop Microservices or Restful API/Webservices Create and maintain software automation using CI-CD Follow Agile Software methodologies for development.

Write automated unit, feature and regression test suites. Hands-on experience with Java/Web frameworks and tools including Java/JEE, Spring Boot Framework, Redis, ReactJS/AngularJS, Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB and Openshift OCP DevOps and CICD knowledge e.g. Git, Jenkins, Sonar Qube, Docker, unit test and Test driven development Familiarity with the database technologies, preferably MariaDB and MongoDB Knowledge in different domains, programming languages and client environments Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes will be added advantage.

Requirements

Strong software engineering skills and hands-on experience in Java/JEE, Spring Boot Framework, Redis, ReactJS/AngularJS, Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, Openshift OCP, Linux, JBoss. Experience and familiarity with cloud platforms and container technology such as Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Experience and familiarity with Core Banking domain knowledge will be an advantage Good communications skill and able to engage at various levels across different technology teams and stakeholders Location: DBS Asia Hub Job: Technology Schedule: Regular Employee Status: Full time
