Maintenance Technician
Job description
Maintenance Technician II About the Role We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician II to help keep our manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems .
You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support plant operations. 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance, electrical troubleshooting through 480V, hydraulics/pneumatics, and schematics is required What You’ll Do Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment Diagnose electrical systems including 24V DC, 120V, 240V, and 480V Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems Maintain bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, conveyors, motors, and other production equipment Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance Adjust and calibrate machinery to improve performance and minimize downtime Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals Use electrical testing equipment, diagnostic tools, and precision measuring instruments Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed Complete and update maintenance work orders using the CMMS system Support plant startup and shutdown procedures Safely operate forklifts, man lifts, and other powered industrial equipment Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to 480V Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings Basic computer skills and experience using a CMMS or maintenance work-order system Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred but not required Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical technology is preferred Physical & Schedule Requirements Must be able to flex between shifts as needed for training and operational support Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, and other task-specific PPE Training New employees receive hands-on training with experienced team members to become familiar with our equipment, processes, safety requirements, and job responsibilities.
